I was offered an allocation, but passed. I really like it. I had just purchased my 600LT and was not sure I would like it that much more than my 600LT spider to justify the cost. Wishing I would have taken it now.

    What makes you regret it?

I like the concept of the 620R - more HP, even better handling, even more track focused, etc. However, the 600LT is a very special automobile especially in spider form.

    Can't go wrong with either.

    I have a 720...and an order of a 620R arriving in October.
Of course I would trade the 720...which would make me take a quite big loss on it.
Was wondering if I should do it or not...

I transported my car yesterday to Calgary, in the transport was a brand new 620R, looks very impressive

That is the big question. Compared to your 720, the 620 will feel smaller/tighter inside, it is a smaller car overall, will have 100 less HP, and suspension will be very stiff. The 620 is a street legal race car. Is that what you are looking for? Do you like the comfort and stupid, ridiculous acceleration of the 720?

BTW, if you do not want your 620, I would take it.

I'm buying it for the track.
Have a GT3 RS already so ride is not an issue. Was looking for something different and more extreme...but ideally would not take 100k loss by next year. lol.
My First McLaren the 720 ...and price wise I would not repeat it.
I guess I was privileged with Porsche and Ferrari...cars that did not cost me much at all to run for 1-2 years. And this....was a disaster so far.

New McLaren’s depreciate as do all new exotics, but probably a bit more. I suspect the 620 will do the same. I think it is a bit telling that there are already 3 being marketed by dealers already.

The 620 is an amazing car. Just depends if it is worth it to you.

I do have to say I lost a bunch on my 488. My 600LT has been pretty good - is worth about same as I paid 6 months ago.

let me know if you pass on the 620.

You don't buy a 488, you buy a Pista. And you can make money.
Not any Ferrari keeps the value...and not all keep the same high value.
McLaren is nowhere close...but they have a something that turns me on.
