Senna is the road legal track car, optimized for downforce and minimum weight, so 4L biturbo gas only
Speedtail is the center steer GT, optimized for high Vmax, extra weight compensated by additional power so 4L biturbo gas + electric

If this is It, the family resemblance to the 720S is striking. The Senna looks more different with all its wild aero and skeletonized chassis.

Considering how much these Ultimate Series cars cost, and how limited the allocations are, I think the availability and (relative) affordability of the 720S is remarkable... it's a true Swiss Army Knife of a supercar that dominates the drag strip, competes with the very best on the track, and is perfectly usable as a daily driver. And it looks like a million dollar car, garnering almost universally positive attention from all.

Rep from Mclaren Philly told me BP23 will look more P1 than 720. We’ll see.

That would make a lot more sense. I still see the law of diminishing returns here not making this Speedtail much of a step up from the P1 and 720S. I hope for their sake they avoid using any parts from that parts bin to actually justify the price and exclusivity of this thing. Otherwise just get a 720S.

It wont look like P1 or 720... Its a high speed concourse car, has virtually 0 downforce. or some kind of minimal but adjustable downforce. Just look at the pictures they released of the back and you can get an idea.

The Senna is 100% function over form. I'd expect the Speedtail to be a much more even split.
It will be the next 'F1'

Should have called the “Senna” the “Cock-tail”. Much more “fitting”

Next F1 is the AM Valkyrie. After that not sure if V12s will be allowed. :(

I love the Valkyrie, fantastic. To me it is the most exciting car of any in the pipeline.

Nah, not the same. That's more of an evolution of the MP4/12c and 650S with the same M838T engine base and monocage. The F1 was revolutionary. IMO the only thing on the horizon that comes close to that is the Valkyrie.

Speedtail? Really? That's the name they are going with?? What a letdown. I don't know who's in charge of naming their road cars, but he/she needs to be reassigned.
