They are all 2 seater exotics from the same brand. They are supposed to carry a certain style throughout.

Wow neat, cool spy shots. Has some of the curves of the ferrari Dino, but modern. Nice big canopy.

Tons of 570s styling in there especially the rear end. I think it's attractive in a bug like way. Amazing how many super cars today look like a predatory insect (I see tons of preying mantis in Laferrari). I'm sure it will be absolutely bonkers quick.

Let me guess, this also shares that one engine that they have developed and that one carbon tub that every single vehicle in their line up has?

At first i thought this was another 540/570 variant. Is it bigger than the 540/570? It's not bad per say but it's nothing new in terms of looks.

I agree with everyone on how similar all the McLaren models look. However, i think with each new model they look just a little bit better.

At first glance, I thought that the first picture (front 3/4-ish view) was an F1. Not sure what made me think that, but it still does when I look back at it closer. I really like where the design is going though.

Oh Bob - you just never disappoint in a McLaren thread. ;)

    Exactly.

This will be the first model to be fitted with the M840T if current rumors are true.

Dimensionally the 570S is actually slightly bigger than the current 650S.

Indeed - Frank took over after the 12C design was pretty well finalized and could only make small changes there, but he and his team have worked tirelessly to move the McLaren design language forward pretty rapidly from that point with beautiful results.

New engine and new tub. Its a fresh new model. It will have styling cues from the 570 as most manufacturers do.

I like that they went with a smooth C-pillar/window to decklid like the 570GT, without trying to fuss with the teeny tiny buttresses of the 570S.

Perhaps but I doubt the car will look like this mule. You might be right on the buttresses though.

Also, the doors will be part of the roof like the McLaren F1.

This is a Ferrari site. You have to say doors are like LaFerrari then it will be accepted. Doors are like LaFerrari which is like F1.

There are areas on the car where orange is showing beneath the matte, so it's entirely possible they are still covering up significant aspects of the design. Orange is visible on the gas cap, the rear bumper, and the wheel arch/door area.

"certain style" shouldn't mean you can't tell them apart from one another

    IMO -- lazy design.
