So part of my reasoning for wanting a 720 has been a business associate of mine, whose opinion on cars I respect greatly, owning and loving the car. He's owned a number of very fast cars, including a 918 and has a habit of putting them to the test with data. He recently had a private runway event and invited me to ship my NSX down to texas to join. I had to decline but he was nice enough to provide me some data from his 720S. Roughly a mile to accelerate before he had to lift. These times are with 1 foot roll out. DA sub 1000 ft. He said the surface was good and they were permitted to do some prep. I have times in both MPH and KPH which I'll provide below:

    MPH
    0-60 mph : 2.5 seconds
    0-100 mph : 5.0 seconds
    0-110 mph : 5.8 seconds
    0-120 mph : 6.7 seconds
    0-130 mph : 7.8 seconds
    0-140 mph : 9.0 seconds
    0-150 mph : 10.4 seconds
    0-160 mph : 12.1 seconds
    0-170 mph : 14.2 seconds
    0-180 mph : 16.8 seconds

    KPH
    0-100 kph : 2.6 seconds
    0-130 kph : 3.6 seconds
    0-160 kph : 4.9 seconds
    0-180 kph : 5.9 seconds
    0-200 kph : 7.2 seconds
    0-220 kph : 8.6 seconds
    0-240 kph : 10.2 seconds
    0-250 kph : 11.2 seconds
    0-280 kph : 15.2 seconds
    0-300 kph : 18.9 seconds

    1/4 mile 9.89 seconds @ 146.7 mph
    1/2 mile 15.42 seconds @ 174.9 mph

    60-130 mph 5.25 seconds
    100-150 mph 5.39 seconds

Figured you guys would enjoy if you're data junkies like myself.

Houston Executive I believe. I can confirm but I believe that’s where he told me when I was invited.

Other point, when I told him about looking for one he mentioned that the only “mod” he’s made is switching out the stock pirellis for Michelin’s. Said they’re far superior.

I agree, strong times, has to be near as good as the car can do. I’m assuming ambient temp was very good. These turbo charges cars will pull power with too much humidity or heat. You wouldn’t notice until 120+ so it wouldn’t hurt much as far as street driving goes but when pushing to 180+ it would be noticeable.

Do you happen to know which model Michelin's he's using? I was considering Toyo's for the rear but they don't do well in the rain and are noisy. These Michelin's sound like they have the same or similar grip and better wet protection.

I believe he uses PSC2s. We’ve discussed this before and he uses these or PSS on his cars. Says they’re both superior to what’s out there from other brands. He used Toyos and liked the grip just didn’t like the road noise. Have to have heat in these ultra high performance tires though to get anything out of them no matter what brand you use.

I switched PSS onto my Camaro ZL1 which used to spin hopelessly even up to 80+ mph and the difference was night and day. It had bridgestones before.
